We are a rapidly growing startup contributing to Austin’s innovative fintech scene and are currently looking to add a highly motivated Sr. Product Manager to our team. You will be the end to end product owner responsible for all aspects of the 6lock product and platform. As the first PM to join the team, you have the potential to significantly influence the future of 6lock.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS product management and a proven track record of successfully managing and launching products. This role involves close collaboration with both internal and outsourced engineering teams to deliver on the planned roadmap. As one of the earliest product leadership hires at 6lock, you will play a pivotal role in our company, and serve as the product manager and product owner for 6lock offerings.
Product Strategy & Delivery: We are a startup in the 0-1 phase of building the business. This role requires a willingness to move fast, execute well and also be open to changing our plans based on the market feedback. Learning rapidly and moving quickly are extremely important. You will work closely with the founders and assist them in translating market feedback into product roadmap and working strategy.
Product Management & Leadership: Bring your experience in product management to bear in the delivery of 6lock Saas platform and services using a combination of internal and external SaaS services. This includes creating and managing multiple product backlogs and identifying the right tools and processes to accomplish them efficiently.
Roadmap Management: Manage the product roadmap, prioritize product opportunities, refine feature ideas, and maintain existing features to drive business goals. Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
Stakeholder Engagement: Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products. Engage stakeholders in leadership, research, data, and support to maintain product and strategy alignment
Market and Customer Research: Conduct thorough market research and customer analysis to identify potential features or releases. Utilize a curious mindset to explore new ideas and stay ahead of market trends
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required
● Minimum experience of 6+ years as a product manager working with b2b saas products and platforms.
● Demonstrated ownership of complete product development from initial idea to go live. If your products are in production and growing in the market that is even better.
● Comfortable working in an extremely fast paced environment with ambiguity. This is the nature of a 0-1 early stage startup. You should be someone desiring this and ready to dive into this.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
● Curious, creative, and capable at integrating proven and emerging technologies into the product strategy with a clear articulation of its value.
● Strong communication and leadership skills.
● Fintech or banking software background is a plus but not a requirement.
