In June of 2025, we achieved SOC 2 Type 1 certification after working through an in-depth audit with Assurance Labs. Type 1 verifies the design effectiveness of 6lock’s procedures and processes, attesting that they are written to a high standard of excellence in data security and privacy. 

By September of 2025, we achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification after completing a performance audit with Assurance Labs. Type 2 verifies design and operating effectiveness, attesting that our processes are not only written with bar-setting excellence, but that they are also consistently enacted.
